A few small habits keep a Malang looking the way it did the day it arrived.

Wipe the vegan leather with a soft, dry cloth. For marks, use a cloth that is barely damp, then dry it straight away. Avoid perfume, lotion and hand sanitiser on the surface.
Dust it with a soft, dry brush. Never soak or scrub it — water can warp the weave. Keep sharp objects away from the open weave.
Wipe the handle and metal fittings with a dry cloth. Keep the bag away from direct heat, which can mark the finish.
Fill it lightly with tissue so it keeps its shape. Store it in its dust bag, upright, out of direct sunlight. Unclip the strap so it does not crease.
Blot — don’t rub — with a soft dry cloth. Let it dry naturally at room temperature, away from heaters and sun.
